Mele Nahiku is the name of our intentional community. We have 3.5 acres in the jungles of Maui, Hawai'i. Our group consists of two families, six full time members, and growing!
Our vision is to become completely sustainable. To be growing our own food for ourselves and our animals, grow our bamboo for lumber and have a home business in the field of healing retreat and sustainable/communal living education.
We have created a family where we feel totally excepted and committed to each individuals person growth. Spiritually, mentally and physically. We work at home together and teach our children together. We unschool them, meaning we help them explore their personal interests.
Alternative healing, staying on the land, loving the land and being a part of the group is very important to us. We believe that we are healing the world by becoming a prototype for how everyone could live. We hope to educate and share with all who are interested, how our life is. What our dreams are and how simple it is to trust in each other and create a tribe. The way people use to live.
